Job summary

St. Luke's University Health Network is seeking an Environmental Services Aide to perform the general cleaning and sanitizing of patient rooms, auxiliary spaces and other hospital areas, following approved cleaning guidelines.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and 3–6 months of housekeeping experience in a hospital or institutional setting; reliability, ability to follow schedules, and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Three to six months of housekeeping experience in hospital or institutional setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and sanitizes patient rooms, auxiliary areas, and other hospital spaces according to procedures.
• Uses appropriate cleaning supplies and follows safety guidelines.
• Dusts, polishes, and cleans furniture, glass, and fixtures.
• Removes trash to designated stations and maintains sanitary conditions.
• Follows schedules and sanitation requirements; participates in department meetings.
