Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1-2 years hospital or institutional cleaning experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, speak and comprehend English.
• Ability to operate floor cleaning equipment and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintains prescribed standards of cleanliness for assigned areas using germicidal solutions and following posted work schedules.
• Cleans all assigned areas to high standards and handles trash disposal.
• Observes safety and infection control precautions during cleaning tasks.
• Provides courteous assistance to patients and families as needed and supports departmental projects.
