Qualifications

• Education - High School Diploma / GED.
• Three years' electrician experience; knowledge of 480/277/208/120 single and three-phase wiring.
• Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code and related local codes; ability to read drawings and specs.

Responsibilities

• Understand emergency procedures, fire drills and disaster protocols; reset and troubleshoot fire alarm systems.
• Identify hazards, maintain safety and cleanliness; follow protocols and wear PPE.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and safety with minimal complaints.
• Be available for on-call duty and shift changes as needed.
• Maintain and repair electrical distribution systems, fire alarm, nurse call systems, emergency generators and related hospital equipment.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and install new equipment per codes.
• Assist with data line installations, room moves and planned maintenance with outside resources.
• Investigate work requests, address safety issues, and train staff on equipment.
• Maintain knowledge of hospital systems, including charging stations.
