Job summary

Frederick Health EHS Assistant (Housekeeping) is a part-time evening role (3pm–11:30pm) focused on thorough 10-step cleaning of hospital areas. The position emphasizes patient and visitor satisfaction while adhering to FH standards and compliance.

Responsibilities include cleaning patient rooms, departments, offices and public areas, with emphasis on safety, communication and teamwork in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Experience in housekeeping or service work is desired.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough 10-step cleaning of assigned areas using approved products and procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness of patient rooms, corridors, lobbies and restrooms with attention to detail.
• Respond promptly to emergencies, spills, and patient care area cleaning needs.
• Interact cheerfully and professionally with patients, staff and visitors.
• Follow FH Compliance Program and Safety standards during all tasks.
