Northwestern Medicine is seeking a Dietitian to join our clinical team and deliver medical nutrition therapy across patient populations in Illinois. You will assess nutrition needs, develop personalized care plans, and monitor outcomes to improve patient recovery and well-being.

Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other health professionals, you will educate patients and families on healthy eating, document progress, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the

Qualificações

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in food and nutrition or dietetics.
• Registered Dietitian credentialed by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
• Licensed Dietitian in Illinois.
• Maintains dietetic registration, state credentials and CE requirements.
• Good instructional and communication skills.
• Experience in hospital clinical dietetics preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Develops and implements a nutrition plan of care for all assigned patients.
• Fosters continuity of care across the continuum of care.
• Continuously evaluates and monitors the effectiveness and outcomes of medical nutrition therapy.
• Provides nutrition education to patients and family members on appropriate food selections and eating behaviors.
• Manages delivery of nutrition care services and participates in performance improvement.
• Mentors Diet Clerks and other support personnel.
• Maintains professional development and competency related to position.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
