Hospital Dietary Manager / Chef - Full Time

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Hospital Dietary Manager / Chef to oversee the nutritional services and meal preparation for our healthcare facility. Key Responsibilities:
  • - Develop and implement meal plans that meet the dietary needs of patients, staff, and visitors, adhering to healthcare regulations and nutritional standards
  • - Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the hospital kitchen, ensuring efficient workflow and food safety compliance
  • - Manage inventory, procurement, and storage of food supplies and kitchen equipment
  • - Lead, train, and evaluate kitchen staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
  • - Ensure all food preparation and service meet quality, safety, and sanitation standards
  • - Collaborate with healthcare professionals and dietitians to customize menus for patients with specific dietary restrictions or health conditions

Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS

Required Job Qualifications include:

  • High School diploma or equivalent, required.
  • Food Handlers Permit
  • Dietary Management Preferred
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/REQUIREMENTS

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is frequently required to carry, climb, hear/listen, lift, reach and manipulate objects, tools, or equipment, push/pull, see, speak, squat/kneel, stand, and walk. Heavy physical exertion is also required as duties involve moving materials weighing 10 – 20 pounds continually, and 25 – 50 pounds. Manual dexterity and coordination are required over 90% of the work period. Work involves the potential for exposure to infectious. This position requires mobility. The employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
