TouchPoint Support Services is hiring for a full-time Diet Clerk at Saint Joseph Chicago Hospital in Chicago, IL. This role supports patient menu management, data collection, and diet office functions under the supervision of the Patient Services Manager and Clinical Nutrition Manager.

The position requires prior customer service or call center experience; schedule may vary. Pay ranges from $17.25 to $18.50 per hour, with online applications accepted.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service and call center experience required.

Responsibilities

• Distributes and collects menus.
• Assists patients in completing menu selections in accordance with prescribed diet.
• Offers alternatives to menu respecting allergies, cultural, ethnic or religious preferences.
• Plans regular and modified menus based on the current diet manual.
• Prepares and distributes supplements, tube feedings, and enteral formula.
• May handle preparation, distribution, inventory and management of human/donor milk and/or infant formula.
• Adheres to HIPAA, patient rights policies, and confidentiality.
• Complies with regulatory standards and completes required documentation.
• Follows infection-control policies and participates in Performance Improvement initiatives.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
