Job summary

Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital, part of Trinity Health, Mid-Atlantic, seeks a full-time Cook to join the food and nutrition team. Responsibilities include producing food and ensuring quality for patients and café customers in line with JCAHO, HACCP, and Trinity guidelines.

Maintain sanitation and work with management to ensure smooth operation and strict quality control. The role requires a high school diploma and 3–5 years of cooking experience (healthcare preferred), plus strong communication

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma required as stated.
• 3–5 years cooking experience, healthcare setting preferred.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Customer service oriented with strong communication.
• Ability to read, breakdown and expand recipes.
• Able to work with minimal supervision.
