Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group USA company, is seeking a Clinical Dietitian to provide Medical Nutrition Therapy in an acute care environment. You will work with a collaborative team to improve patient outcomes through evidence-based nutrition care and education for patients, families, staff, and the community.

You will perform comprehensive nutritional assessments, develop care plans, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives while supporting growth of dietetic interns and staff.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or CDR exam eligible
• Licensed Dietitian (or willing to obtain) in the state of practice as applicable
• Healthcare experience preferred—new graduates with strong clinical training are encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

• Perform medical nutrition therapy and nutrition assessments in an acute care setting
• Develop individualized care plans to promote recovery and improve health outcomes
• Educate patients, families, staff and community on nutrition and lifestyle strategies
• Apply evidence-based practice in alignment with diet manuals and facility policies
• Collaborate with food service management to improve patient satisfaction and service quality
• Mentor and support dietetic interns and staff where applicable
