Job summary

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect patient rooms, bathrooms, furnishings and other areas—timely.
• Deliver linen and remove trash from assigned areas.
• Sweep and mop patient rooms.
• Maintain stock of materials on cleaning cart and in janitor's closet.
• Perform daily floor care procedures consistently.
• Ensure equipment is kept clean and polished; empty and rinse carts and buckets at shift end.
• Adhere to hospital policies and procedures and organisational standards.
