Job summary

Pratt Regional Medical Center Corporation is seeking an Environmental Service Attendant to clean and maintain hospital and clinic facilities. You may work in any location on client premises, performing tasks that ensure a safe, orderly environment for patients and staff.

Responsibilities include cleaning patient rooms and common areas, handling linens, and adhering to safety policies. Candidates should have basic cleaning skills, dependability, and the ability to work independently or in a team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
• 6 months or more related work experience.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to properly and safely use cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Knowledge of basic cleaning and disinfecting procedures preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Dependable and punctual with good attendance.
• Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, patients, residents, and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Clean patient rooms, bathrooms, hallways, offices, common areas, and other hospital/clinic spaces.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, scrub, and polish floors.
• Clean walls, windows, vents, furniture, mattresses, and light fixtures.
• Empty trash and replace/replenish supplies.
• Sometimes change bed sheets and handle linens.
• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment according to hospital safety rules.
• Report broken equipment or maintenance problems.
• Follow safety procedures and attend required training.
