Job summary

PIH Health is seeking a dedicated individual for a full-time Central Issue role involving decontamination, preparation and distribution of a variety of medical supplies and equipment across the hospital network. You will work in a fast-paced central supply environment supporting Downey/Good Samaritan/Whittier facilities and associated clinics.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and at least two years experience in hospital Central Supply / Issue, with strong English

Qualifications

• Read, write and understand spoken and written English.
• Able to perform on own initiative; basic computer skills required.
• Knowledge of medical equipment function to determine operational adequacy.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, decontaminate and distribute medical supplies and equipment.
• Support hospital Central Supply / Issue for a variety of medical items.
