Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Training and Experience: Bookkeeping experience / knowledge and ability to work with numbers. Use of 10-key by touch.
• Job Knowledge: Knowledge of hospital policies, posting of cash and bookkeeping necessary. Ability to communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties to ensure the accurate collection and deposit of cash receipts, safeguarding of cash and the timely and accurate posting of cash receipts to the proper accounts.
• Maintain accuracy and security of cash handling and complete postings in the hospital's accounting system.
