Wellstar Health System in Georgia is seeking a Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat patients primarily in the Rehab hospital and LTAC hospital. The role involves daily EMR documentation, patient and family education, and collaboration with the care team.

Responsibilities include developing and implementing treatment plans, achieving functional goals, mentoring interns, and participating in skills checks.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required.
• GA Physical Therapy license or eligibility is required.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association is required.
• Basic computer literacy is required.

Responsabilidades

• Performs initial and discharge evaluations, sets goals and treatment plan and documents appropriately.
• Develops treatment plan and performs optimal treatment in a timely manner to meet functional goals.
• Determines therapy educational needs and provides PRN.
• Participates as a member of the interdisciplinary team.
• Serves as CI/mentor for interns as needed.
• Participates in hospital and discipline specific skills check.

Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy

Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy (preferred)

GA Physical Therapy license or eligible
