Job summary

PIH Health Hospital in Whittier is seeking a Hospital Assistant to support patient care and sustain smooth patient flow. Under the direction of the Clinical Manager, you will contribute to overall hospital efficiency and patient experience.

The role requires strong communication, basic typing, and organizational skills, with preferred 6 months of hospital or medical office experience and current BLS CPR certification from the American Heart Association.

Qualifications

• Six months of hospital or medical office experience preferred.
• Evidence of continuing education where required and applicable.
• Current BLS CPR certification from the American Heart Association

Under the direction of the Clinical Manager, the Hospital Assistant shall perform patient care and all duties to maintain the flow of patients thereby contributing to the overall efficiency of the hospital.
