Job summary

Southwest Healthcare Rancho Springs Hospital in Murrieta, California is seeking an admissions staff member to deliver excellence in patient care and service by admitting patients and collecting required information from physicians, patients and payors.

Responsibilities include answering questions, providing hospital and service information, maintaining compliance with regulatory and hospital policies, and being flexible to float to the Inland Valley Hospital as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• One year of experience in a hospital admitting or medical business office.
• Computer experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Admit patients by gathering and recording physician, patient, and payment responsibility information.
• Answer questions and provide hospital and hospital services information.
• Staff will follow regulatory, professional, legal and hospital policies and SWHS Core Values.
• May float to the other facility within Southwest Health Rancho Springs and Inland Valley Hospital as needed with orientation and competency validation.
