Three Oaks Hospice is seeking a dedicated Volunteer Coordinator to join our team. The VC oversees the agency’s Volunteer Program, recruiting, training, retaining, and supervising volunteers to support patient care and administrative needs.

The role emphasizes building strong relationships with the Interdisciplinary Group (IDG) and the community, ensuring volunteers are placed in appropriate roles and supported to deliver compassionate hospice services.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Graduate; college/university degree preferred.
• Experience: Recruitment and management of hospice volunteers preferred.
• Skills: Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with IDG and the community.
• Transportation: Reliable transportation, valid auto insurance, and current driver’s license.

We are looking for a passionate Volunteer Coordinator to join our leading team of hospice care professionals and make a difference, by listening, caring, and serving.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Volunteer Coordinator (VC) has overall responsibility for the Agency’s Volunteer Program. Volunteers must be used in day-to-day administrative and/or direct patient care roles that meets the needs of the patient and family/ care givers. The VC is responsible for recruiting, training, retaining and supervising volunteers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education: High School Graduate, Graduate of an accredited college/university is preferred.
• Experience: Experience in recruitment & management of hospice volunteers preferred.
• Skills: Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Interdisciplinary Group (IDG) and the community.
