Bloom Healthcare, based in Parker, Colorado, is seeking compassionate volunteers for their Hospice Volunteer Program. Volunteers will provide emotional support and assist in specialized therapies, enriching the lives of patients facing terminal illness.

The role does not require prior healthcare experience, as comprehensive training will be provided. Volunteers must demonstrate empathy and be available for a regular schedule.

Formación

• No prior experience in healthcare is required; training will be provided.
• Demonstrated empathy, compassion, and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Availability to commit to a regular volunteer schedule for this unpaid position.

Responsabilidades

• Offer emotional support and companionship to patients.
• Assist in providing specialized therapies such as music therapy and pet therapy.
• Work closely with the hospice care team to ensure patient needs are met.
• Support patients' families and friends through Bereavement Program activities.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines and patient privacy policies.
