Job summary

Heartstrings Pet Hospice & In-Home Euthanasia is seeking a Compassionate Veterinarian to provide end-of-life care in clients' homes across Towson, Lutherville-Timonium, Cockeysville and surrounding areas. You will work on the road, practicing medicine with time for families during difficult moments, while benefiting from mentorship and strong team support from day one.

Qualifications

Valid U.S. Driver's License required.
Be able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 90 lbs with assistance.
Candidates will complete license verification, background check, and driving record review before start.

Responsibilities

Practice veterinary medicine independently on the road.
Provide compassionate end-of-life care and in-home euthanasia.
Offer mentorship and support within a team while maintaining autonomy.

5-Day Full-Time: $145,000 Base Salary, Plus Generous Quarterly Bonus Opportunities
4-Day Full-Time: Starting at $120,000, Plus Generous Quarterly Bonus Opportunities
2 & 3-Day Full-Time & Self Managed Part-Time Schedules: Prorated Compensation Based on Your Schedule including Self Managed Scheduling Options Available

Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
Valid U.S. Driver's License
Weekends on Your Terms. Instead of a fixed rotation, you'll choose the 4 weekend days per month that fit your life, so you can plan around family events, trips, and time off with confidence
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Unassisted and up to 90 lbs with Assistance
To ensure the safety of the families and pets we serve, all candidates will complete license verification, a background check, and a driving record review before their start date
