Job summary

Angels Care Hospice is seeking a Site Director to manage the daily operations of a hospice branch, ensuring quality standards and alignment with organizational philosophy. The role requires education and governance-compliant experience.

Ideal candidates hold business administration and health care leadership credentials, plus prior health care management experience and strong community relations skills. The position emphasizes growth and compliance with Medicare Hospice Certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field.
• Master’s degree in health care or related field preferred.
• Three to five years’ experience in health care management.
• Demonstrates an ability to supervise and direct professional and administrative personnel.
• Has an ability to deal tactfully with the community.
• Knowledge of corporate business management.
• Understands hospice care and the services provided to patient and family/caregiver through an interdisciplinary group.
• Intimate knowledge of Medicare Hospice Certification.

Responsibilities

• The Site Director is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the hospice branch and possesses education and experience required by the hospice’s governing body.
• Establishes, implements, and evaluates goals and objectives for hospice services that meet and promote the standards of quality and contribute to the total organization and philosophy.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field

Master’s degree in health care or related field preferred

Three to five years’ experience in health care management

Demonstrates an ability to supervise and direct professional and administrative personnel

Has an ability to deal tactfully with the community

Knowledge of corporate business management

Understands hospice care and the services provided to patient and family/caregiver through an interdisciplinary group

Intimate knowledge of Medicare Hospice Certification
