Job summary

• Serve as a leader of the healthcare team; delegate tasks appropriately.
• Understand own and team members' scope of practice and elevate issues as appropriate.
• Develop and/or contribute to individualized plans of care.
• Monitor patient progress based on the care plan.
• Ensure effective development and completion of discharge plans.
• Ensure patient safety related to medications and procedures.
• Provide optimal pain control and patient comfort.
• Practice customer service standards defined by the Medical Center.
• Act as a resource, preceptor, and mentor to new employees and team members.
