Life Hospice seeks an On-Call Registered Nurse to deliver compassionate hospice care in New Jersey. The position involves 7 days on-call followed by 7 days off, with after-hours triage, home visits when needed, and coordination with care teams.

You will educate families about the dying process, ensure meticulous documentation, and participate in death visits per policy. Candidates must hold NJ RN licensure and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• NJ RN license active in good standing.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience; hospice experience preferred.
• Valid NJ driver's license and vehicle insurance.

Responsibilities

• Respond to patient calls and triage health concerns appropriately.
• Provide clinical guidance over the phone or in person.
• Coordinate with physicians and care teams for follow-up or escalation.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions.
• Support emergency response protocols when necessary.

This role is ideal for a nurse who thrives in a flexible, autonomous environment. The nurse will be on-call for 7-days, followed by 7 days off.
