Job summary

Redcrest Hospice LLC in Indianapolis, IN is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to oversee end-of-life care within a compassionate, interdisciplinary team. You will provide one-on-one patient care, operate at the top of your license, and coordinate with physicians to ensure comfort and dignity for patients and their families.

The role emphasizes autonomy, comprehensive documentation, and adherence to state scope of practice while supporting patients through the hospice journey.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current license in the state of employment.
• Minimum one-year experience as an RN in an acute care setting preferred.
• Hospice experience is desired.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance in your name as a driver.

Responsibilities

• Plan and evaluate the patient’s plan of care and adjust as needed.
• Minimize patient risk by updating doctor orders and administering meds.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary care and admissions/transfers/discharges.
• Counsel patient and family and involve them in the care plan.
• Ensure clinical documentation follows agency and Medicare guidelines.
• Oversee total patient care with nurse aides and LPNs; attend trainings.
