The ideal candidate holds WA RN licensure, an associate degree in nursing, and excellent communication. On-call duties include two holiday shifts per year; on-site travel is required.

Hospice Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: Benton Franklin County

Type: Full Time Non Exempt

Schedule: Mon-Fri 8 am to 4:30 pm, one on call shift per month

Sign-On Bonus: $3,000 upon successful completion of 90 days of continuous employment in good standing

Position Overview

As an In-Home Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) with Tri-Cities Chaplaincy, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality hospice care in the comfort of patients' homes. Your responsibilities encompass providing skilled nursing care, pain management, and emotional support to patients facing end-of-life challenges. You will work collaboratively with a compassionate team of healthcare professionals to ensure patients receive the best possible care and comfort during their journey.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate Degree in Nursing.
  • Unrestricted Registered Nurse Licensure in Washington State.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Moderate computer skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Available to work on call a minimum of two holiday shifts per year.
  • Pass pre-employment drug testing, including cannabis testing in WA State.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
  • Bilingual in Spanish.

  • Maintain knowledge of and comply with agency policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Protect patient and agency information per HIPAA guidelines; access information on a need-to-know basis.
  • Maintain reliable personal transportation, valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance per state requirements.
  • Satisfy state and agency health requirements by providing proof of immunization, declinations, or approved accommodations as applicable.
  • Pass criminal background and drug screenings.
  • Meet physical and environmental requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Complete agency and departmental orientation and required training programs.
  • Complete ongoing education, policy reviews, and training by designated deadlines.
  • Maintain current licensure(s) and certification(s) required for the role.
  • Read, write, speak, and understand English fluently.
  • Be available to work as assigned or scheduled.
Compensation

Hourly Rate: $37.67 per hour – $57.22 per hour

Sign-On Bonus: $3,000 upon completion of 90 days.
