Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in palliative care, hospice, or oncology.

Responsibilities

• Assessing and managing patient needs: Continuously assess the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients, developing individualized care plans with the interdisciplinary team.
• Providing expert symptom management: Administer medications and treatments, focusing on pain management and symptom control to improve the patient’s quality of life.
• Educating and supporting families: Be a trusted resource for families, providing education about the disease process, care options, and end-of-life decisions, while offering emotional support.
