Job summary

Bon Secours Home Care and Hospice by Compassus is seeking an On-Call Hospice Registered Nurse to support patients in their homes across our care network. You will provide compassionate end-of-life care during after-hours and weekends, ensuring comfort and dignity for patients and support for families.

Qualifications

• RN license in the state you work (VA).
• Two years of RN experience; hospice experience preferred.
• Current driver’s license and CPR/BCLS certification.
• Ability to flex schedule to meet agency staffing needs (weekends or 7 on/7 off).

Responsibilities

• Provide hospice patient care after-hours and weekends as needed.
• Help patients and families spend meaningful time with loved ones.
• Build trusting, compassionate relationships with patients and families.
• Educate caregivers on care for their loved one.
• Assist patients and families in maintaining comfort during after-hours care.
