Job summary

Compassus is seeking an experienced Hospice On-Call Registered Nurse to provide compassionate patient care after-hours and weekends as needs arise. You will help patients and families enjoy quality time together while maintaining comfort and dignity in home settings.

As part of our Care for Who You Are culture, you'll build trusting relationships, educate families, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality end-of-life care.

Qualifications

• RN license in the state you work.
• Two years of RN experience, hospice experience preferred.
• Current CPR and BCLS certification.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain auto insurance as needed.
• Flex your schedule to cover after-hours/weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospice patient care after-hours and weekend care as needs arise.
• Build trusting compassionate relationships with patients and their families.
• Educate caregivers on care for their loved ones.
• Help the patient and family maintain comfort and coping for after-hours support.
