Job summary

Compassus in Michigan seeks an on-call Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) to provide after-hours patient care, assess comfort, and support families in making meaningful moments possible.

You will educate and empower caregivers on home care, coordinate with the interdisciplinary team, and help patients maintain dignity and quality of life. Flexible scheduling and comprehensive benefits underpin our caring culture.

Qualifications

• RN license in Michigan or your work state.
• Two years of RN experience; hospice experience preferred.
• Current CPR and BCLS certification.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospice after-hours and weekend patient care as needed.
• Support patients and families in maintaining comfort and dignity.
• Educate caregivers on home care and coping strategies.
• Build trusting relationships with patients and their families.
• Assist with after-hours emergency support when required.
