AccentCare in the United States is seeking a Level II/III Music Therapist to support patients and families through evidence-based music therapy within the interdisciplinary care plan. You will assess, plan, implement, and document music therapy interventions aligned with goals to enhance quality of life.

As part of the IDG, you will guide staff, provide bereavement support, and engage with community programs while supervising interns and contributing to organizational outreach and education

Responsabilidades

• Complete the music therapy assessment with patient and family per interdisciplinary care plan.
• Plan music therapy interventions.
• Implement music therapy interventions per interdisciplinary care plan.
• Guide patient in creative activities to improve function and quality of life.
• Instruct care team members in using music to reach care goals.
• Evaluate effectiveness of music therapy with patient/family.
• Document all services in the clinical record.
• Terminate therapy services when appropriate.
• Provide in-services to staff and facilities as requested.
• Serve as counselor at IDG meetings and participate in on-call rotation.
• Participate in on-call schedule as required.
• Support the bereavement program at site level (calls, groups, minutes).
• Provide supervision of interns per AMTA requirements.
• Participate on a committee within the organization.
• Support community outreach and education activities with volunteers and development teams.
• Facilitate bereavement groups/workshops and memorials.
• Provide supervision of interns per AMTA requirements.
• Participate and chair a committee, including ethics consultations.
• Present annually to external MT committees or conferences.
• Be a support to community outreach and education activities.
• Facilitate bereavement groups/workshops and memorials.
