Job summary

St. Croix Hospice is seeking a compassionate Music Therapist in Wisconsin to provide patient-centered music therapy as part of the care team. You will assess patients, plan and implement therapeutic sessions, and document outcomes to support comfort and dignity.

The role emphasizes autonomy in practice, HIPAA compliance, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to enhance quality of life for patients and families.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited music therapy program with bachelor's degree in music therapy.
• Board Certified Music Therapist (MT‑BT) or an equivalent certification (NMTR / AMTA).
• Ability to pass background, consumer report, and drug test.
• Provide music therapy per plan of care; assess patients and determine effectiveness.
• Implement interventions to relieve symptoms and support emotional, physical, and spiritual comfort.
• Educate team, maintain HIPAA compliance, and participate in interdisciplinary meetings and quality improvement.
