Qualifications

• Completion of nurse aide training totaling 75 hours (16 hours practicum, 16 hours classroom).
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) preferred.
• If in North Dakota, must be registered as Home Health Aide within four months of hire.
• Maintains required competencies and certifications; valid driver’s license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks delegated and indicated on the care plan under RN supervision.
• Understand body functioning and changes across age groups including end-of-life care.
• Assist residents with daily living activities (dressing, bathing, eating).
• Demonstrate courteous, caring, and professional interpersonal skills.
