Job summary

Hospice Buffalo is seeking a dedicated team member to handle delivery, setup, and pickup of durable medical equipment, oxygen, and medical supplies. You will educate patients and families on proper equipment use and maintain accurate equipment documentation.

Responsibilities include inspecting equipment for safety, restocking, and assisting with warehouse duties as needed. Valid driver’s license required; DME experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Experience with durable medical equipment (DME) preferred.
• Familiarity with FDA, DOT, OSHA, NYS and Federal regulations helpful.

Responsibilities

• Delivery, set up, and pick up of durable medical equipment, oxygen, and medical supplies.
• Instructs patients and families on proper use of equipment.
• Inspects equipment to ensure it is in good working order and clean.
• Completes documentation including logging of equipment, delivery, and pickup with serial numbers.
• Performs routine warehouse duties and supports cleaning and stocking.
