Job summary

Compassus is seeking a Hospice Director Clinical Services (RN) in Texas to lead patient and family care per the plan of care, coordinating the Interdisciplinary Team and ensuring high-quality hospice services.

The role requires an RN license in Texas, with 3+ years in healthcare and leadership experience; BSN preferred. EMR proficiency and a back-up administrator capability are valued assets.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with minimum of three years in healthcare required, preferably in Nursing Facility, Home Health or Hospice setting.
• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred. BSN a plus.
• Experience in leadership or management strongly preferred.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Record systems a strong plus.
• Must be a Registered Nurse licensed in the state of employment.
• State Texas RN license required with back-up administrator qualifications a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise patient and family care as specified by the plan of care, assessing appropriateness, continuity, service and quality.
• Manage Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) scheduling, productivity, mentoring and timekeeping.
• Oversee consultative process between Medical Director and IDT members.
• Attend/Lead IDT meetings and ensure compliance with regulatory standards and EMR workflows.
