Hospice Companion Volunteers Needed in Terrell, TX

Do you have a caring heart and desire to make a difference in someone's life? Bristol Hospice Dallas is seeking compassionate individuals to serve as companion volunteers for patients in their final stages of life.

What You'll Do

• Visit patients in their homes, assisted living, or nursing facilities.
• Offer companionship through conversation, reading aloud, playing games, or simply sitting quietly together.
• Provide a comforting presence to patients who may not have family nearby.
• Support emotional well-being through kindness and attentiveness.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Complete Bristol Hospice's volunteer training and onboarding process.
• Pass background and TB screening (provided at no cost).
• Have reliable transportation.

Time Commitment

Flexible with your schedule - Just 1-2 hours a week can make a meaningful impact!
