Job summary

FirstHealth Hospice & Palliative Care is seeking a Hospice CNA to deliver compassionate end-of-life care in a fast-paced hospice environment. You will perform personal care tasks and work with an interdisciplinary team to support patient comfort and dignity.

Responsibilities include direct patient care, bathing, grooming, and reporting changes to the hospice nurse. Requires High School diploma or GED, Nursing Assistant I certification, and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Current Nursing Assistant Level I certification is required.
• AHA CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under supervision of a Nursing Supervisor.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating and mobility.
• Observe and report changes in patient condition to the hospice nurse.
• Work in the hospice house providing compassionate care within care plans.
