Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for the Heyman Hospice Care program. The role involves traveling throughout the Rome, GA service area to deliver compassionate patient care in homes and facilities.

You will work a full-time, 40-hour week, Monday through Friday, 8am–5pm, with occasional extended hours based on patient needs. Mileage is reimbursed at the IRS standard rate.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an accredited CNA training program (or equivalent).
• Active Georgia CNA certification required.
• BLS certification preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care support under supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Assist with daily activities and ensure patient comfort and safety.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized care environment.
• Support a family-centered approach to patient care.
• Collaborate with nursing staff and interdisciplinary teams.

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Heyman Hospice Care

Location: Travel throughout the Rome, GA service area and surrounding counties, Floyd, Chattooga, Bartow and Polk (Mileage reimbursed at the current IRS standard rate)

Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday 8a-5p, no weekends or holidays. Hours may occasionally extend later based on patient needs and visit schedules. Travel throughout the Rome, GA service area to provide compassionate care to patients in their homes and facility settings.
