Job summary

Hospice Home Care in White Hall, AR is seeking a CNA/Hospice Aide to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in home settings. You will provide 1:1 assistance with activities of daily living, monitor patient conditions, and collaborate with the hospice team to support comfort and quality of life.

The role requires at least 6 months of caregiving experience, completion of required training (75 hours classroom + supervised practical), CPR certification, and the ability to work independently

Qualifications

• Meets state training requirements
• Completed a minimum of 75 hours of classroom and 16 hours of practical training
• Minimum of six months experience providing personal care
• At least 18 years of age
• Ability to read and follow written instructions
• CPR certification current
• Probationary period to verify competence
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility, and repositioning
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition
• Assist with ambulation, transfers, ROM exercises, and safe equipment use
• Assist with self-administered medications per state regulations
• Offer emotional support and companionship to patients and families
• Light housekeeping, meal assistance, and space maintenance
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Collaborate with hospice interdisciplinary team
