Job summary

Beloit Health System is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant to join the Beloit Regional Hospice Team in Beloit, WI. The CNA will provide personal and supportive care under the RN Case Manager, with 1st shift 6a-2:30p, 40 hours per week, benefits eligible. Prior home health or hospice experience preferred.

Responsibilities include taking vital signs, assisting with hygiene and nutrition, aiding ambulation, and maintaining patient confidentiality. CPR required within three months of hire.

Qualifications

• Takes vital signs accurately and reports abnormalities.
• Provides personal hygiene care and maintains a safe environment.
• Assists with nutritional needs and documents nursing records.
• Assists with ambulation and transportation using wheelchair or stretcher.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient information and performs duties professionally.

Responsibilities

• Take and record vital signs accurately and report unusual signs and symptoms.
• Provide personal hygiene care for patients and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Assist patients with nutritional needs and document accordingly on the nursing record.
• Assist patients with ambulation and transport using wheelchair, stretcher or bed.
• Maintain confidentiality of all patient information and act professionally.
