Job summary

Adoration Hospice, a part of Adoration Health, is seeking a dedicated Hospice CNA to join our Indiana, PA team. You will provide compassionate 1:1 patient care, support families, and help maintain comfort for patients at a critical time.

The role emphasizes empathy, strict adherence to state training standards, and ability to work with a collaborative hospice team. Indiana, PA location with a weekday schedule and PRN opportunities.

Qualifications

• Meet the state training requirements.
• Minimum six months experience including personal care.
• Must be 18+ years of age.
• Complete a minimum of 75 hours of classroom and supervised practical training, 16 of the 75 hours of classroom must be complete prior to a mandatory 16 hours of practical training.
• Possess and maintain current CPR certification.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions and document care given.
• Understands hospice philosophy, comfortable providing specialized care to the terminally ill.
• Ability to work with little direct supervision.
• Ability to handle death/dying.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Good Organizational Skills

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 care to patients and families.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with mobility, bathing, dressing and daily activities.
• Administer and assist with medications per state regulations.
• Offer emotional support and companionship to patients and families.
• Light housekeeping and meal assistance.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Collaborate with hospice interdisciplinary team.
