Job summary

Puget Sound Hospice of King County is seeking a dedicated Hospice CNA to join our interdisciplinary team in Thurston County. The role involves direct patient care in homes and facilities, delivering comfort, dignity, and compassionate end‑of‑life care.

Qualifications

  • CNA license in Washington state is required.
  • Experience in home health or hospice is preferred.
  • Compassionate, patient-focused and empathetic.
  • Reliable, insured transportation and a valid WA driver’s license.

Responsibilities

  • Travel to multiple patient homes each day, providing 4–6 visits daily (no single 1:1 patient assignments).
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing).
  • Monitor and report vital signs and patient conditions.
  • Administer medications under nurse supervision.
  • Offer emotional support and companionship to patients and families.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and dignified care environment.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team on individualized care plans.
  • Document patient care accurately and comply with HIPAA regulations.

What You'll Do
