Job summary

Optum's Heart of Hospice is hiring home health aides to provide personal care, assist with daily living activities, monitor clients, and support families in a compassionate home setting. The role requires a valid driver\'s license or reliable transportation, CPR certification, and at least 6 months of home care experience; flexible hours and independence are valued.

Pay ranges from $14.00 to $22.60 per hour and a broad benefits package are offered.

Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and assist with daily living activities (bathing, grooming, dressing, ambulation, medication reminders).
  • Support household tasks, meal preparation, and accompany clients to appointments or errands as needed.
  • Monitor and document client condition, vital signs, and incidents; maintain confidentiality and use EVV system.
  • Ensure a safe environment, operate medical equipment properly, and respond promptly to client needs.
  • Function in diverse home situations regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and assist with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, ambulation, and medication reminders
  • Support household tasks, meal preparation, and accompany clients to appointments or errands as needed
  • Monitor and document client condition, vital signs, and incidents; maintain confidentiality and use EVV system
  • Ensure a safe environment, operate medical equipment properly, and respond promptly to client needs
  • Ability to function in any home situation regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition of the client

Required Qualification
  • Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation or access to public transportation
