Position Overview
As a Hospice Aide at Luna Del Valle Hospice, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate care and support to our patients during their end‑of‑life journey. Your responsibilities will include assisting with activities of daily living, providing emotional support, and ensuring the comfort and well‑being of our patients. This provides care to our patients, while also providing peace‑of‑mind to our patient's family and loved ones.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure patient comfort and safety.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and any changes in patient condition.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required. (1+ years of general CNA experience highly encouraged)
- Good, caring bedside manner is required.
- Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards patients and families.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
