Job summary

Superior Hospice in Blaine, MN seeks a compassionate Hospice Chaplain to walk with patients and families at the end of life. You’ll provide spiritual care, grief support, and pastoral guidance within an interdisciplinary team, helping families find meaning and peace.

Work alongside nurses, social workers, physicians, and volunteers to honor every belief and wish, offering prayers, reflection, and conversations that support healing, hope, and dignity.

Qualifications

• Experience providing spiritual care, grief support, hospice or pastoral ministry.
• Ability to walk alongside patients and families at the end of life.
• Strong listening and compassionate presence in diverse settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate spiritual and emotional support to hospice patients and families.
• Offer prayer, reflection, ritual, or conversation aligned with patient beliefs.
• Support families through anticipatory grief and difficult transitions.
• Engage in meaningful conversations about legacy, forgiveness, gratitude and hope.
• Participate as a member of the interdisciplinary hospice team.
• Respect all faith traditions and beliefs.
