Job summary

Gentiva Hospice seeks a dependable Hospice Aide or CNA to deliver compassionate, hands-on care in patients' homes, assisted living facilities, or inpatient units. You will provide direct personal care and emotional support, and you will document visits accurately.

Active CNA license and CPR required; a valid driver’s license with a reliable vehicle is essential. At least six months of direct patient care experience is needed, with the ability to work independently and adapt to changing patient

  • Willingness to work independently and adapt to changing patient needs

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct personal care to terminally ill patients

Essential Functions
  • Provide direct personal care to terminally ill patients

About You
Qualifications – What You’ll Bring:

Preferred Background (Not Required):
  • Experience in home health, hospice, palliative care, or oncology

  • Prior roles in hospital nursing, ICU, geriatrics, med-surg, ER, telemetry, or nursing homes

  • Exposure to end‑of‑life care, wound care, or admissions support
