Job summary

Agape Hospice Care is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our hospice care team in the Cartersville area. You will provide direct patient care in the home setting, assist with activities of daily living, and help maintain a safe and comfortable environment under RN supervision.

• At least one year experience as Hospice Aide or Nursing Assistant in healthcare settings.
• Reliable transportation; valid auto liability insurance.

• Primary function is to provide personal healthcare and related services to patients in their residence; maintain a safe, clean environment.
• Work cooperatively with patient and family and share observations with the supervisor.
• Operate under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse.

We are looking for a passionate Certified Nursing Assistant CNA to join our leading team of hospice care professionals and make a difference, by listening, caring, and serving.

POSITION SUMMARY: Primary function is to provide personal healthcare and related services to the patient in their place of residence; to assist in providing a safe and clean environment, work cooperatively with patient and family and share observations and problems with the supervisor. Works under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma Preferred
• Has successfully completed Nurse aide training/competency program approved by the state and listed in good standing on the state nurse aide registry; or State Licensure program that meets requirements
• Must have CNA license
• Must have current driver’s
• At least one year experience, preferred, as a Hospice Aide or Nursing Assistant in a hospital, nursing home, home health agency, hospice, or long-term care facility.
• Reliable transportation. Valid and current auto liability insurance.
