Job summary

Mission Healthcare is seeking a Hospice Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA/CNA) to provide compassionate home health and hospice support in a California setting. The role emphasizes patient care, personal assistance, and adherence to care standards within a supportive team.

The position offers full-time hours, competitive benefits, and an emphasis on dignity and professional conduct in daily patient interactions. Training and ongoing support align with Mission CARES values.

Qualifications

• Self-directing with ability to work with little supervision.
• Empathy for the needs of the ill, injured, frail and the impaired.
• Current BLS & CPR certification.
• Demonstrates tact, patience and good personal hygiene.
• Valid Driver's License and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Providing personal care including baths, back rubs, oral hygiene, shampoos, changing bed linen.
• Assisting patients with dressing and undressing.
• Skin care to prevent breakdown.
• Assisting the patient with toileting activities.
• Keeping patient’s living area clean and orderly.
• Assisting patient in self-administration of medication.
• Adhering to documentation and care procedures and standards.
• Meet productivity expectations as determined by business need.

Additional Benefits for Employees Regularly Scheduled 30+ Hours per Week:

Pay range (depending on experience): $23.00-$28.00 hourly

Schedule/Shift: Full Time, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm
