Job summary

AccentCare Inc. is seeking a Hospice Care Consultant in Broward County, Florida to educate referral sources and connect patients with compassionate hospice services.

The role includes building relationships with physicians and facilities, driving hospice sales, and coordinating with admissions and marketing to promote timely, quality care. You will work closely with clinical staff to ensure smooth transitions into care, uphold ethics, and honor patient dignity while meeting program goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and/or 5 years of proven experience in home health, healthcare sales, or hospice sales.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a territory effectively.
• Knowledge of hospice regulations and services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with physicians, hospitals, SNFs, and community organizations through in-person visits and educational conversations.
• Drive hospice sales by nurturing current relationships, identifying new referral opportunities and increasing awareness of programs.
• Conduct presentations and in-services to educate partners on hospice benefits and eligibility.
• Collaborate with Admissions and Marketing to develop and carry out outreach plans reflecting the mission of honoring life.
• Partner with clinical staff to ensure referrals transition smoothly into care, prioritizing patient comfort and dignity.
• Participate in training, plan outreach strategies, and maintain confidentiality in all work aspects.

Pay: $70,500–$85,000 (based on experience) base + monthly bonuses and mileage

As a Hospice Care Consultant, you'll be the face of AccentCare, building strong relationships with healthcare providers, facilities, and community partners. Your primary focus will be hospice sales, educating referral sources about our services, and ensuring patients receive timely, quality care.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain trusting relationships with physicians, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, and community organizations through in-person visits and educational conversations, helping them understand when and how hospice care can best support patients and families.
• Drive hospice sales by nurturing current relationships, identifying new referral opportunities and increasing awareness of our programs.
• Conduct presentations and in‑services to educate partners on hospice benefits and eligibility.
• Collaborate closely with Admissions and Marketing teams to thoughtfully develop and carry out community outreach plans that reflect the mission of honoring life and offering hope.
• Partner with clinical staff to ensure each referral transitions smoothly into care, always prioritizing patient comfort, dignity, and family support during this sensitive time.
• Uphold ongoing commitments to quality, ethics, and learning by participating in training, planning thoughtful outreach strategies, and honoring confidentiality in all aspects of your work.
