Job summary

Compassus in Missouri is seeking a Hospice Aide to support patients at home, providing comfort care as part of a compassionate hospice team. You will address physical, emotional, and spiritual needs to help patients remain with loved ones and maintain quality of life.

Qualifications

Certified Nursing Assistant highly preferred.
Current CPR certification required.
In Missouri: licensed/certified as Nurses' Aide or completed a nurses' aide training and employed as a nurses' aide for the past 24 months; or enrolled in a nursing program with clinical rotation and Fundamentals of Nursing completion.

Responsibilities

Provide comfort care to patients enabling them to remain at home with their loved ones.
Work as a member of the hospice team to meet each patient's physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
Help patients approach their final days with joy, peace, and dignity.
