Job summary

Hospice Care Center in Chattanooga is seeking a Part Time Hospice Aide (CNA) to join our compassionate team, providing hands-on care that brings comfort and dignity to patients at the end of life. You will work closely with our nursing team to meet physical, emotional, and personal needs with respect and professionalism.

Schedule: NOC, 7pm - 7 am. Eligibility includes High School Diploma or GED, state CNA certificate, CPR if mandated, valid driver’s license, and at least 1 year CNA experience in

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current unencumbered CNA certificate in the state.
• Minimum 1 year CNA experience in an acute care or long-term care setting; hospice experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized care following the plan of care and attend promptly to patient and family/caregiver requests.
• Assist with personal care such as bathing, oral hygiene, changing bedding and clothing to maintain comfort and dignity.
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service and dedication to patient satisfaction.
• Provide support for families by guiding and reassuring them during the difficult time.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care in the home and agency records.
