Job summary

Compassus is seeking a Hospice Aide to provide compassionate at-home care, supporting patients and families as part of a collaborative hospice team.

You will help meet physical, emotional, and spiritual needs while promoting comfort, dignity, and peace during the patient’s final days, contributing to improved quality of life every day.

Qualifications

• CNA certification preferred; licensure requirements vary by state.
• Must have current CPR certification.
• Ability to provide comfort and emotional support.

Responsibilities

Hospice Aide Requirements

Certified Nursing Assistant highly preferred. In states where licensure is not required (AL, CT, GA, IA, IL, KS, LA, MA, ME, MI, MS, MT, NM, OH, OK, PA, SC, TN, TX, WV), applicants must meet one of the following: They are already a licensed/certified aide; or They have completed a state-approved nurse aide training program AND have been continuously employed in that capacity for the previous 24 months Current CPR certification required.
